Pankaj, In order for you to get useful answers, your questions must be detailed. What engineering program? There are atleast 40 to 60 different types of doctoral engineering programs. The more specifics you offer, the better answers you will get from Shiksha experts!

Hi Pankaj, for PhD in USA a student needs to have a masters degree. Universities require a GRE score for engineering. Also, you can apply for August 2012 intake and start applying to univs in October 2011 for getting admissiions in good schools
