Hi, I am Sukhvinder Sharma from Yamunanagar. I am a soldier in Indian Army since Oct 2007 but now i want to become an IPS officer but i dont know how to apply for the same and what qualification required for the same so please guide me.

Dear Sukhvinder Ji, I am from Bhiwani. If you are a graduate you can apply for IPS. The exams are common for IAS, IPS and IFS. The applications for Civil Services are yearly announced by UPSC in the month of November-December. All the best!

for it you should be graduate from the regognized university and an indian citizen .FOr IPS examination there are three sections of exams pre mains and interview in pre there is one genrel exam and another is optional and in mainss there are two optional and one general.
