Has PH.D. by correspondence been scrapped all over India or is it still available

hi all...this is rani..i have seen in eenadu newspaper that correspondence phd is removed in AP.Is it removed only in AP or throughout india.but when i browse for correspondence phd admissions im able to see the dates upto feb.which one is correct.pls let me know correctly.

Dear Swaroopa ,Its always better to see the list of current courses and universities in UGC official website.So be sure before going into it.
