The term "Undergraduate" is generally used for a person who is undergoing the education for completion of graduation and is likely to complete the same in due course of time. However, technically speaking any person who is yet not a graduate is an undergraduate. Generally Xth pass or not passed are

hi a person who has passed 10th standard is a matriculate and he is not considered an undergraduate. understand is someone who is pursuing his college degree after passing 12th standard.
