Dear friend, IPS exam is to become a police officer at higher rank and this exam is conducted by upsc.to be eligible for the exam you need to be graduate in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate.and the limit is between 21 to 30 years.within this age you can take as many attempts as you want.fo

Dear Sateesh Kumar, There are no set standards as such. General fitness is okay. However, before all this you need to crack Civil Services Examination. IPS depends on your choice and rank in the exam.
