Hi Vaishak,
As Mr. Girish rightly said there is not much of a difference in course curriculum, its just that different Institutes call their Post graduate Diploma programme by different names.
Thanks,
Pooja

PGDBM is equivalent to masters so just after it you can go for PhD.As far as value is concerned MBA ,PGBM and PGDBM are at same plateform.

Dear Vaishak,
Hi
There is no difference between PGDBM & PGBM while MBA is a degree compared to pgdbm & pgbm as these are diplomas. If you have a degree you can go for PhD while with pgdbm you can'tgo further a degree can only be offered by a university and hence IIMs give pgdbm instead of MBA .

Both stands for PG programme in management i,e, Postgraduate Programme in Business Management and Post graduate Diploma in Management
Some PGDM is equivalent to MBA if they are of 2 years full time duration
You need to check with the institute offering programme whether it has been declared equivale
