What is the procedure, if any, for a student who is in the third year, to shift from B.E.(Marine) to B.Tech (Mechanical)

Dear Maheep, Yes, there is a procedure for branch sliding within the college, but i'm afraid its too late for you. The sliding in some colleges can be done in the 2nd year, but not in the third year, I'm afraid buddy.

Change is very tough. Most of the time college does not allow. I will advice you to complete B.E. in Marine and if required later you can plan MS or MTech in Mech. Anyway B.E. Marine is good choice and has good career.
