getting admission in MTECH is good in UGC recognised university or AICTE recognised college,since i did my btech from a deemed university?

since i completed my btech from bharath university,chennai with 7.16 cgpa and i could not qualify gate but scored 11(for sc/st).i want to ask if i go for admission in mtech....then should i go for AICTE approaved colleges or UGC recognised universities.and pl suggest me colleges for admission
