Give me reasons so as why to pursue my higher education in India than Abroad. Money criteria should not be taken into account.

I have recently given my class 12th exam(cbse) and is looking forward to my higher education either in India or Abroad. I would like to pursue either Computer Science/Engineering or Petroleum Engineering. I feel education is not given much value in India and not even the deserved pay package.
