Lovely Professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. B.Tech CSE is a highly in demand program these days! You compare on the following parameters:
Curriculum : If at all the curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback of industry. Since IT is a highly dynamic field, you cant afford a program which is stuck in obsolete technologies and syllabi.
Pedagogy : The teaching pedagogy forma the backbone of how the program is delivered, more the practical, better it is. Maximum exposure to practicals and internships more chances of becoming a well rounded professional.
Technology: The businesses and the business functions are now highly tech driven, the tech program must have the exposure and training of the same. The world leading technologies like SAP, GitHub, Advance excel etc are must for any professional to succeed in career.
Industry interface: Ultimately its the industry which is going to immerse the students in the placements, the regular industrial talks, interactions, lectures, visits and internships are must have in any tech program.
Professional etiquette: It is the most important part these days, the personality, ethics, virtuous, speech, body language, interpersonal skills etc are given high importance in the organisations. The program must include the training or modules on all these.

Placements : The program is only means to the end ! And desired end of such course is a placement. You must check if the college/university has sold track record of placements or not.
My 16 years of experience tell me that LPU has made phenomenal progress in all these and leads all others by huge margin.

LPU provides courses at an affordable cost with various scholarships to every talented individual. With the ongoing studies, there is so much happening in the university, e.g. seminars, guest lectures, conclaves to film and music video shootings, concerts, DJ Night, sports competitions, cultural programs, etc.

As per my opinion, you will get a lot of exposure in every aspect in LPU as you are interested in CSE. Recently, Tanya Arora, a final year Computer Science Engineering student of Lovely Professional University has bagged Rs 42 lakh job offer from Microsoft. This is one of the highest job offers received by an engineering fresher in 2019.

LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions and accreditation down the lane and mark itself amongst the few of the top private universities. Even the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. So, I would prefer you to choose LPU to pursue your higher studies.

Before discussion on the above said universities, we have to understand the trend of market and recruitment requirements. As per current trend in recruitment, a recruiter need his employee fully skilled with coding, logical operations and experience. Being a student in the university, we can learn coding and other stuff but what about experience? So now I will clear the parameters which we have to observe while choosing University.
The above mentioned universities are good but I have seen the policy of LPU for their strategy to prepare students for employment. LPU has more than 250 tie ups with leading brands in Software and IT sector

Hi, LPU is one of the best universities which provides quality education as well as the placements to the students whereas recently students of CSE branch got 28 LPA from the AMAZON through the LPU placement cell. Moreover, the university also provides the placements classes in which students clear their doubts regarding the interviews and other aspects. Throughout I would say LPU is the best for you if you are planning to get admission in CSE
