As a simple answer I would like to tell you that I have seen more scope of web designing when compared to graphic designing.

I think the basic difference lies on the platform they work on. Web designers work in online space while graphic designers has very less to do with the web. -

Graphic design includes logos and print design. Graphic Design includes anything which is created and printed (or displayed as part of a layout). It includes ads, magazines, newspaper layouts, newspaper ads, billboards, logos, brochures, books, decals you find on toys, CD labels & booklets, movie posters etc. It encompasses all things in the print world.
Whereas, web design overlaps graphic design in the graphics and overall appearance (layout) and flow of the site/pages. It also includes all the technical aspects of creating a website, such as the coding past basic layout. -
Graphic Design mainly deals with print media and web design deals with internet media. However graphic modules forms the foundation for working as web designer. We design is offered as University PG program as well as Certificate program.
