Law Common Entrance Test (LAWCET) is conducted by the Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati under the aegis of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education for admission into three year and five year LL.B/B.L. courses. 2. No particular set of syllabus is designed for Sri Venkateswara University LAWCET examination. However, the entrance examination for five-year programme is of 10+2 standard, while three-year LLB programme includes question of graduation level. The test examines the general knowledge, general mental ability, current affairs knowledge of the aspirants. In order to prepare for these sections, one can study, newspaper, magazine, current affairs books etc. the last section of the entrance examination intends to test the abilities of the candidates to study law. The section consists of questions on reasoning, command over the application of stated principles to a given set of facts and basic knowledge of the fundamental principles of the Law and Constitution of India. 3. You need to read a lot of books and newspapers. You should also watch news channels for getting knowledge about the current affairs. You should look into some of the legal books also to get some knowledge in law. 4.
