Hello Abishesk Digital Media and Animation related programs are offered by lot of Government Colleges, Autonomous Institutes & Universities. Few top notch institutes in the field are NID & IIT- IDC who offer PG programs in these segment. If you are creative, do consider and appear for their entrance test. Animation is rewarding but demanding field where your creative abilities & passion for the medium will hold the key to growth. Learning Software alone won't help you. First acquire artistic skills on paper, then learn application software’s for expressing skills in the Digital Medium.Animation calls for a wide bouquet of skills from traditional art skills to articulation skills, storytelling to aesthetic appreciation, and creativity to technical prowess. If you're creative, you can always consider going for Design and Animation. However, you must check your suitability for this field. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in animation design, game design, graphics, storyboarding, 3d modelling, texturing and lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation. However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this (if you work hard you can improve your drawing skills tremendously). Nothing but your innermost talent and passion should lead you to the course and the institute you choose. Go speak to people over there and see if you like their philosophy and they change your perspective.Try their website for more details. Also remember that Animation requires good mentoring.
