It is now the NEET 2024 examination instead of the AIIMS MBBS 2024 exam. The test in pen and paper format is set for May 5, 2024. At AIIMS, admission to the MBBS programme is now granted solely through the NEET procedure. Qualifying candidates for the NEET are offered admission to around 17 AIIMS Institutes, which include AIIMS New Delhi, Bhopal, Rishikesh, Nagpur, Jodhpur, Guntur, Patna, Raipur, and Bhubaneshwar respectively.

The AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam, or AIIMS Entrance Exam, was a medical entrance exam conducted by AIIMS New Delhi for admission to the MBBS programme. This was a national-level medical exam that was conducted annually. However, from 2020 onwards, AIIMS MBBS has been replaced by the NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test), or NEET UG. Admission to the BDS course at AIIMS Delhi is also offered based on the NEET-UG scores.

PGIMER does not accept the NEET UG score. You need to appear in the PGIMER BSc Nursing exam separately for the BSc Nursing program. To appear in this examination, students must have completed the Class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects. A separate counseling will be conducted by PGIMER for granting admission to candidates on the basis of the merit scored in the entrance exam.
