Has AMIE lost its relevance? Is it a bad option to pursue AMIE in 2018 after completing Diploma in civil engineering?

Visit https://www.ieindia.org and check their recognition status with the date. Any change in status will be reflected first on their official portal. But as of now, AMIE is taking admissions and is still recognised by MHRD. I would suggest you to keep checking the news related to the matter before taking any step. -
You are advised to wait for AICTE or UGC approval and court decision before seeking admission in AMIE.
