Has the GATE pattern changed from previous years?

GATE is conducted every year by one of the IITs. In 2024, GATE will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. It will be conducted in various cities across the country. It is expected that the official notification for GATE 2024 will be released in July 2023 by IISc Bangalore. The GATE 2024 exam pattern will be released soon. In 2023, the exam pattern for GATE was released by IIT Kanpur for 29 disciplines. There were no major changes in the exam pattern from last year. It is expected that in 2024, too, there will be no change in the GATE exam pattern. It describes the basic structure of the question paper and contains details including the number of questions, marks, duration, etc. The question paper will comprise Multiple-choice (MCQ), Multiple Select (MSQ), and Numerical Answer Type NAT questions. Negative marking is there for multiple-choice questions, but for numerical answers, there will be no negative marking.
