Yes, the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) has chosen to be test-optional, which means that it is not mandatory for international students to submit an ACT or SAT for undergraduate admissions. This decision was taken amidst COVID-19 to reduce students flocking to test centres. SAT and ACT test scores are considered for admission to undergraduate courses. GRE and GMAT test scores are required for graduate courses. Besides, IELTS and TOEFL test scores are required to demonstrate proficiency in the English language.
