have failed in XI (non medical) n do not wish to repeat XI as i think I have good base n want to give myself a chance to prove myself right

people are suggesting that i give XII directly thru Patrachar but i am not too sure if I would face rejection anywhere in future because of that tag.. If at all i have repeat XI can i take admission in US high school this September and what will be the cost implication.. please guide me..
