Hello ,can you please tell me which one is better.Doing BCA or COMPUTERSCIENCE ENGINEERING.And please tell me the eligibility criteria.

Saad, BTech CS would be better. If you are confused about careers after 12th/ graduation, there are a few ways to approach this. If you are very good with maths and programming, opt for Computers (BTech or BCA). I am not sure how good you are with maths and programming. If you are, then you must pick up Programming and take a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). However like i mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with MCAs and BTech(CS) applicants. So choose your internship/ industrial training very carefully. Do not just go for the cheapest to save money. See the IT company's credentials on the net. for example if someone provide LIVE PROJECTS are they there near the TOP on PORTALS like JUSTDIAL? Or if the company is registered with STPI (Software Technology Parks of India) - all good IT companies are registered with STPI. If a company spends money to market themselves to customers, only then they are able to get LIVE PROJECTS. Also, if you are an average programmer, and if you you're better with creative work, then you can head for web design or even vfx/ animation since there is a huge requirement coming up in that domain. There is also an intermediate path in games design and development. If you are good with Drawing and Creative opt for Design (Animation, VFX, Games, Fashion). If you are good with words become a writer (content, news, fiction, ads) or director. If you are good with keeping records go for Accounts or Stats or administration. If you are good with logic go for Law. If you are good at memorizing and love nature go for medical. If you are good with people go for Management. If you are good with nothing become a politican (haha, pun intended - actually you need very good insight into future for this). Wish you the best for your career. Hi Saad, Both courses are good. BCA: Computer technology is a growing field in India and there are numerous opportunities after completing BCA. Candidates can find opportunities in private as well as government sectors. Since BCA is not only about computers but also about technology, hence there are very bright prospects in this field. Aspirants can choose banking sector in government jobs and in private sector; they can go for software technology, web designing, software testing etc. Many companies like HCL, Infosys, Wipro, TCS etc hire candidates qualified in computer application. After BCA, there are a number of opportunities to open software business as well. Computer technology is always in demand. Further studies are also a good idea after BCA. Options like MCA, MBA, MSc, PGDCA etc can be pursued after completing BCA. Doing these master degrees can further increase the prospects of Bachelor in Computer Application. Computer engineering: A computer engineering graduate with a high percentage of mark and good communication skill are easily absorbed in reputed companies. Along with the degree in computer science, the candidate should be well trained in the latest software's. Software and IT companies are the main employers of these graduates. They can also find job opportunities in a variety of environments in university, research, private and public industries, government departments, business organizations, commercial organizations and the manufacturing sector etc. Computer Engineers can work as a Software/ Hardware Engineer, which are the two main sectors in the computer industry.
