Hello experts i want to know that M..s.c in statistics is equivalent to M.s.c in Mathematics or a person who is M.s.c in statistics is able to teach in intercolleges.

Kindly also note that teching in colleges requires you to clear either the SET (State eligibility Test) or UGC NET (National Eligibility test).

Yes MSc in statistic is equivalent to MSc in mathematics. He/She is eligible for teaching in maths deptt of any college/univ.
