Hello, I am doing chemistry honors from Delhi university i want to be professor of chemistry in du, is it necessary to do msc from du.

No, not necessary to do an MSc from DU if you want to become a professor in DU.
Secondly, if you want to become a professor then follow the path as mentioned below.
After BSc Hons. Chemistry you should go for MSc Degree in some Chemistry field. Now, if you are below 28 years of age a

For becoming Assistant Professor it is essential that the candidate must have qualified his masters degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized university.
