Dear Purnima, UPSC Civil Services exam is one of the toughest exam. around 3 Lakhs students apply and 1.5 Lakhs appear for odd 500 posts every year. You need lot of dedication. You can start with focussing on general mental ability test. You should start reading NCERT books, Manorama year book, you should read newspaper like Economic Times and The Hindu everyday. You should maintain a diary where everyday's most important event you should summarise and write. This will surely help you.
