well if you want admission in IIT Bombay, you need to appear for IITJEE and get a rank within top 100 for coveted branches like electronics whereas you can get chemical at a rank within 700. AIEEE is meant for admissions to NITs. to get admission in NIT Trichy, you must get an AIR within 2000.
