for this you should be graduate and for prelims u will have to choose an optional subject which you will have to be master in . and do the prepration of g k reasoning and all also .

if you want go for some coaching or good study material.there are very good centres in delhi. go for that. keep udated with the lates news.do read the HINDU newspaper daily. all the best

You can appear for the prelims in the year 2011. The forms have to be filled for it in Feb-March 2010. The last date of applying is 21st March 2011. Keep a track through the Employment News paper (Rojgar samachar).The exam would be held on 12th June 2011.
