Hi,
What you can do is call on the number given in the university website. I had a similar problem and called the helpline number. I got in the university website and they guided me to my respective department number through that I was able to contact my department and solve my problem.

You need to give TUEE and institute's own entrance exam. JAM exam is not enough.
