HELP!Completed 1year btech, univ of calicut & discontinued w/o cancelling course from univ.Now wants to join 3sem after 1yr gap in diff coll

Help ASAP! I completed 1st yr btech in biotechnology under University of Calicut (Kerala) & discontinued 4 personal reasons.Now I want to continue the course from 3rd sem under same/different univ after 1 yr gap. My 1st yr results were withheld by univ but can be got since course wasn't cancelled.
