    Yeah it is worthwhile to do your MBA. MBA offers you several advantages including really good salary hike compared to just engineering. It offers you a good glimpse of corporate world. MBA will not be a typical bookish study, it will be a comprehensive package where you will be working on real life case studies and projects. A lot of your classmates will have some work experience as well, which will give you firsthand experience of those companies and industries. To summarize, at the end of an MBA, you will be your better and polished self. I would recommend that you take this option seriously.
