Hey, I am a resident of Mumbai. How do I secure admission in 2017, what is CAP round 1 and 2? The DTE was not really helpful. Thanks!

Do you mean admissions in 2016? Because even 16 notifications aren't out yet. You will have to register on DTE though, aa and when the forms open up on their website. -
After you have secured marks in CET entrance test, you will have to fill an online option form stating which institute you would want to apply for based on your scores. Then a list of students names will be circulated stating who have been allocated seats based on their CET score. This is CAP round 1. The seats remaining vacant at the end of CAP 1 are then consider for CAP round 2. If still some seats are remained to be filled, a CAP round 3 is conducted with the same procedure.
