Hi all, can anyone help me to take a decision to choose best option for doing PGDM amongst XIME, Kochi and KIAMS?

After all the competitive exams are done, the confusion that arises is which college to choose? Among SDMIMD Mysore, Christ Bangalore and XIME Bangalore. I would recommend SDMIMD, not because I am biased for any particular reason. I did my research to know about colleges and I realized SDMIMD has an upper hand. I agree Christ and XIME are in a metropolitan city (Bangalore) but Mysore is nothing less in terms of exposure. Christ intake is about 800 students for MBA, XIME intake is about 180 and SDMIMD takes 180 students. Out of the above three colleges XIME and SDMIMD has residential campus. Christ has on campus housing but it paint compulsory to stay on campus. The average package in the above three colleges is almost the same, which is 6.5 LPA (CTC). I talked to students from the above three colleges it seemed like more number of students from SDMIMD gave positive signs about their own college. I am not saying Christ and XIME students did not, but maximum number was from students of SDM. Campus life at SDM is better and not many students regretted their presence in SDM in terms of faculty and placements. Highlight is the student exchange programme at SDM is with Texas A&M University, one of the top ranked universities in the USA, that is something not many colleges can offer. SDM also has two international accreditation, I believe its something unique. The answer that SDM is better is my opinion and its up to you to decide based on your own research and the short piece of information that I have given. What I would recommend you to do is talk to few of the present 1st year/graduating batch and decide based on the information that they give you. Search for students on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. You will get a better idea when you do it yourself. I hope this helps.

You can surely go for XIME-Kochi for sure. You will get lot of exposure and learning at XIME.

XIME Kochi is best when compared to KIAMS. XIME has very good infrastructure and will assist better B-School atmosphere. It respects diverse crowd by having students from 22 states of India (Current batches). It has got centralized placements happening in Bangalore campus.
