Hi. Can one do a short term course based only on TOEFL score in US?

First of all, visa will not be granted, secondly it will be very expensive and with that cost you will proably be able to live in India a lavish life for 1 yr !!! Hence, coaching for such courses

Yes. Many courses at diploma & certificate level do not need GRE/GMAT scores. TOEFL may also not be mandatory for admission, but may be useful to prove your competency in English for coping up with the course requirements.
