Hi, can someone please tell me that after doing B.Com from LPU can I pursue MBA in aviation management? Is it good for making a career?

Yes, you may surely pursue MBA in aviation management after completing your B.Com. If you wish to build your career specifically in the field of aviation and hospitality sector only, then pursuing this course would be the best option for you. However, if you wish to keep your scope open in other sectors as well, in that case, you may consider pursuing a general MBA programme. The other option for you would be to work for 2-3 years after completing your B.Com and then opt for MBA. The advantage of this step would be: - You will gain relevant work experience. - After working you will know which specialisation to opt in MBA that can further enhance your career prospects. - The other advantage of work experience would be that during admission in MBA, you will have an advantage over candidates with no work experience. - Finally, if you work for some years then you may yourself manage the expenses for your further studies. Yes, you can do an MBA in aviation management after doing B.Com in LPU but you need to pass with 50% aggregate marks in your B.Com. Aviation is a high growth industry due to new Airlines & an increase in traffic. So, it is good at making career.

Aviation Management graduates are offered the job roles where they generally work outdoors as they need to govern the various day-to-day operations of airlines and airport. Most of them are placed with the ATC, airlines, aircraft manufacturers, flight schools, and contractors under the private and public sector. As per the rules for pursuing MBA, Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or CAT or MAT or XAT or NMAT or CMAT and Interview or Completed Company Secretary CS from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Completed Chartered Accountancy CA from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI). .
