Hi Currently i am pursuing my MBA-HR in an open university which will finish by Dec-2013, Can i discontinue it and give my CAT-2012 . what is the possibility and side effects of doing so? will IIMS consider these kind of Admission Totally baffled about it Plz help?

I would suggest not to discontinue frm ut distance course. U keep tht in hand and simultaneously keep trying in other colleges as well.Prepare fr ur entrance exams as it wld always fetch u a good college. Well u can try St.Hopkins College of Management. its knwn to impart practical and experiential

it is imperative that you should fare very well in CAT first for whch you need hard work on a regular basis.you may have to know why you should forsake your presentMBA now. you should also have to provide your reason.it may be very good if you begin concentrating on your present MBA well instead

I would suggest the following
1. Dont discontinue the distance education course. I believe it would take a maximum of 2 hour daily reading to do good in your exams and get the degree.
2. Simultaneously keep preparing for CAT. 1 hour a day preparation is sufficient to crack CAT
