Hi I am a student of class 12th PCM , and I am really confused what should I do in my future. Can anyone suggest me anything?

Hello Shreya If you are not interested to opt for conventional Engineering, then you do have lot of alternative careers options like Management, Information Technology, Education, Law, Hospitality-Aviation-Tourism, Media-Film-Mass Communication, Design, AVGC(Animation-Vfx-Gaming-Comic), Arts, Law, Language, Teaching etc. All fields have ample scope for people who have aptitude and inclination towards the field. If you consider any field as your passion, you may excel and have a great career out of it. While choosing any institute ensure that you are taught by Experienced & proficient Mentors. As you wait for your answers, here is some advice. If you're creative, you can always consider going for Design and Animation. A good mentor and wise selection of courses with a good school, followed by diligent learning, would get you a head start in your career. However, you must check your suitability for this field. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in animation design, game design, graphics, storyboarding, 3d modelling, texturing and lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation (2D and 3D). However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this (if you work hard you can improve your drawing skills tremendously). Nothing but your innermost talent and passion should lead you to the course and the institute you choose. Go speak to people over there and see if you like their philosophy and they change your perspective.Try their website for more details. Also remember that Animation requires good mentoring. Typically go for a school which offers all the information including faculty on their website. B.sc (Bachelor of Science) career options: Apart from Bsc in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology there are some special Bachelor of science courses after 12th which have high scope. B.Sc Criminology: Criminology is the study of the nature and causes of a crime or the behaviour of the crime. This kind of subject is associated mainly with formation of government regulations and they might also be needed in drafting laws. B.Sc Genetics: Genetics is the study of the structure, function and behaviour of genes at cells, tissues, organs, and individual level. Genetic engineering is such a process which is used in preventing genetic disorders from birth. B.sc Information Technology/BCA: If one do not want to go for engineering then he can go for graduation in computer science courses such as Bsc(I.T.) or BCA degrees.
