Yes you can go for the marketing job right at the outset. But then you must also develop the soft skills needed in marketing profession.

If you are interested in MBA in Marketing I would suggest that go for an institute which gives you MBA with marketing as a specialization as it would be easier to get into the field of your interest if you have an MBA in that particular area.
