    Hi Mangesh, Mechanical stream is very technical in nature. Most of the people who have been in the field work for some time decide to pursue their MBA degree so that they can get a position at the managerial levels in relevance to their qualification.You can opt for a number of specializations in the field of MBA such as finance, marketing, IT, etc. You just need to understand that there are many marketing jobs in technical concerns that require an MBA with mechanical engineering degree.     If you want to do higher studies, you can take more specilisation of the same mechanical field. thsi will make you more employable. MBA will help you lift your career. After few years of expreience MBA will help yopu more.

    Hi Mangesh,Most definitely you can opt for MBA as there are great number of engineers who opt for MBA degree, reason being it gives them an edge over others by giving them both sound technical knowledge along with Managerial skills.
