For boosting your career what you now require is hardcore experience in a requted firm so that you can work with your MBA (Finance) knowledge and enhance your skills. I would NOT suggest you to go for further education ( MBA in other stream) at the moment as you would loose precious time, which can be better utilized in a job or a project of your choice. So try to get into a job and then depending upon the kind of experience you get in the next 2 to 3 years, decide if you need any further specialization. May be later you can go for some quicker certification courses in the finance stream to catapult your career.

Hi, Well I would say that in case you have minimum work experience of 3 years, go for 1 year Executive MBA which is most opted by working professionals in order to get promotions to higher grades in their work environment. As far as the specialization is concerned, I would suggest you to take up the one for which you possess keen interest and passion. You make take up any of the 2 as each offers promising career with lucrative options. However, with MBA Finance in kitty, I would prefer Marketing over HR. For your knowledge, graduates of marketing MBA programs generally pursue director or managerial positions with companies in fields such as public relations, advertising, sales, marketing, corporate communications and event planning. Top paying areas for marketing MBA graduates include retail stores, financial investment companies, motion picture industries, internet service providers and social advocacy agencies.
