Hi, I have 6 years of experience in software development. I did MSc. Software Engg. Now I want to do PhD in distributed computing. I am not sure about the part-time and full-time phd in terms of the value.Should I go for MTech first? or what are the options available for me?

Dear Ashish, M.Tech is a Masters Degree in Technology Sciences and PhD is Doctorine of Philoshopy. It is better to go M.Tech then Phd. It will give you advantage. Check with IIT and univsersities. Thanks, Friend
