Hi I have got a 137 rank in CET 18 in B.J. M. C. but my boards score are just 74% will I still get a good college in the counselling?

Dear Swetlana, Few things you should keep on your mind prior to proceed for Journalism degree from any college, 1. Do they have an experienced faculty (Faculty must have expertise in theory and practical both). 2. Do they have Adequate/appropriate equipment to make you expert in handling them? 3. Do they have Audio/Video studio to teach them practically. 4. Are they running any Media house? 5. Do they provide the platform to you for doing practices? 6. Do they have such atmosphere where you can have an experience to perform practically? 7. Do they have Industrial Tie-ups? 8. Do they provide Teachings from external experts? LPU is preferred because it provides all above mentioned salient features. LPU is produces smart and Intelligent journalists. Not only journalists you can find LPU journalism students at various sectors of Media and Entertainment. For e. g. : I know one LPU Student who got placed as a Celebrity Manager in T-series. The well qualified doctorate faculty and many industry experts make a great faculty combination at LPU. LPU has Adequate/appropriate equipment which they use on regular basis for making their children well trained even practically. A separate Professional Audio and Large size Video Studio. Well for this programme the eligibility requirement at LPU is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent. LPU School of Journalism and Film Production organized a national conference on Contemporary Perspectives in Design and Creative Arts' (CPDCA 2018) to have a holistic understanding of issues relating to space, forms, frugality, sustainability and functionality in design and creative arts. The conferences provides a platform for scholars and professionals to share and discuss the innovations and development in the field of design and creative arts. LPU students shared how the conference benefited them by expanding their knowledge about design and creative arts and how words of renowned artists and designers widened their perspective on different forms of art. Hello, There are very few chances for you to get admission in any good college in counselling (1st round) but you never lose hope and try in spot round or through management quota.
