Also ensure adequate infrastructure, industry interface & validate placement track record of alumni's. Visit top 5 institutes and do your own analysis to identify most appropriate option Animation is art in motion and is indeed an excellent creative career option considering its wide application in the areas of information, communication, entertainment and education. Computer animation is advancing at a very rapid scale with strong opportunities because of growth in media & entertainment industry & outsourcing. Animation and Digital Media Careers are practical oriented and will need strong mentoring. You may enhance your knowledge but have to learn the skills thoroughly by learning at any leading institution of your choice & giving ample time to practise and master the Art. Hi Lourd, Like most of the people, I could tell you that XYZ is one of the best and go read online about it. I could tell you to search the youtube for 'best animation faculty' or 'best animation institute'. However these are only some of the methods of shortlisting. There is no such authentic one list of institutes that i can give you. All institute branches have same curriculum, like all states in India follow the same constitution. By same comparison all state progress differently and after a certain time the gap becomes huge. You could do well to create a list of places you may want to learn at, whether they are in your city or not. Then go to their websites and research about them, and even call them and talk to them. Try their website for more details. Typically go for a school which offers all the information including faculty on their website. Now shortlist some you want to visit. Do not hesitate to travel - this is about your life and career. After visiting those take a decision for yourself. Even if you have to travel to timbuctoo or chandigarh for that matter, it is important for your life, so do it.
