Hi, I'm Neladri Sekhar of class 12. I love Biology very much and I want to study Medicine in abroad. Is there any scholarship for me?
I want to complete MBBS and it my dream. I'm not very good in English and I'm a mediocre student. But study in abroad is very expensive and for my parent, it is very hard to invest money in my education. So, I'm searching for scholarship and is there any financial help system for me?
Neladri, liking Biology is no sure-shot guideline for anyone to opt for medicine. Probe yourself again and find out if you can really endure the tough studies & long duration course, which are essential features in being a medical doctor. Then also think of doing this in India as you can switch to pharma line if you are not able to make it in medicine through the exams. Studying medicine abroad, say in USA is longer in duration as compared to that in India.

Hi, American universities do not award or recognize the MBBS. In the US medical studies are only done at the graduate level. Undergraduate students complete BS degrees in chemistry, biochemsitry, biology or other science related fields, then take a difficult examination, the MCAT, and apply for admission to Medical schools that require four years of graduate study and award the MD or DO degree. Admission to med school is very competitive - you must have a 3.6 / 4.0 or better average in a series of difficult science courses to be admitted.
