Hi Sashikanth, Its always advisable to start your admission process, at least a year in advance, so that you can apply early, the more early you apply, the more chances you have to avail scholarships. If you are planning to take admission in Fall (August/September) 2012, intake than you should take GRE by November, because many good universities have their admission deadline till December or January. So its not a mandate, that you should take GRE before 14 months, but yes its not advisable to take at the last stage. The GRE score is valid for 5 Years. I hope this answers your query.
