Hi, if I appear for MAT going to be held during February, then will I be able to join PSGIM for the year 2019 later after I get the score?

I would like to apply for part time MBA only. I would also like to know about PGDM. Which would be better choice part-time MBA or PGDM? What are the opportunities for both the studies when pursued at PSGIM?

    Hello,
Yes, with February MAT score you can apply for the year 2019. PGDM course is for candidates with work experience of minimum 2 years. Regarding part time MBA please check the details provided on the college website. PGDM have more opportunities and exposure when compared to the other. All the best.

Hello Aishwarya, Yes, you will be able to join PSGIM with February MAT Score itself for 2019 batch, provided you have applied through the college portal and attended GD and PI sessions. Part-time MBA is suggested only for working professionals. If you are working, you can apply for part-time MBA. If you are looking for placement or career opportunities through MBA only PGDM or MBA is recommended. Part-Time MBA is just to gain academic experience besides continuing the work.

Hello Aishwarya, if you score more than 75-80 percentile in February MAT exam then you are eligible to apply for MBA in PSGIM. As a PGDM student I would suggest you PGDM because there will be people with work experience so that you can get good industry exposure they will be sharing their work experience knowledge also. So better go with PGDM. PSGIM offers good placements for both MBA and PGDM.
    All the best.

VIT Business School accepts MAT exam percentile for admission to MBA programme. The MAT Cutoff 2024 is 80 for students belonging to the General All India category. In 2023, the VIT Business School cutoff was 80, and in 2022, it was also the same, at 80.

This trend suggests that the MAT percentile has neither seen much change in cutoff nor competition over the past three years.
