Hi, MBA, PGP, PGDM, PGPM etc. What is the difference between them ? What is the best course to do for management in India ? Kindly guide me.

Hi Sakthivel, People often end up getting confused between MBA & PGDM. PGDM is run by autonomous body.While taking up PDGM, the advantage you get is that it being an autonomous body, they regularly update their syllabus so one can say as comapred to MBA courses. Whereas an MBA, this change happens every 3-5 years. But PGDM wont be necessarily equivalent to MBA. Because for PGDM to equivalent to MBA it needs to have accreditation from AIU. While selecting a college you should consider parameters like Infrastructure,Courses offered and so on.
