No, Polytechnic diploma is never equivalent to degree. But one can do a degree course after completing diploma. Colleges give lateral entry for it.

NO DEAR.... i have done 3 year polytechnic diploma... and then i got into engineering ie B Tech which is equvilent to Graduation... So diploma+engg = gradution best of luck for your career
