What is her specialization She must have some practical experience which she will get from a job If she plans to go for teaching the MTech is fine but if she want to do something in the field of her BTech specialization it will be a better option

I AM agree with aneeket , Mtech is bets option for her after btech , because Mtech is only option to continue her development field and get more scope in future many person also go for MBA after Btech but MBA is good when you get admission in top most college like IIMS , IBS, FMS, IIFT , because
