Hi this is dinesh. I want to know is it compulsory that we have to clear the UPSC exams to be become IAS or we can take IAS directly?

Can we take both IAS UPSC exam together.

    Yes it is compulsory to clear the UPSC exams without giving this exam you are not be able to became an IAS OFFICER. HOWEVER, IF WE WANT TO BE AN DOCTOR WE HAVE TO CLEAR THE MBBS EXAM WITHOUT GIVING IT WE ARE NOT BE ABLE TO BECAME AN DOCTOR. IN THIS WAY UPSC IS THE ONLY PATH WHICH WILL MAKE YOU THE IAS OFFICER.
