Hi. What is the difference between MBA and PGDM. And I did my schooling from Bhavans and so on that goodwill I want to join your college.

The PGDM program is an equivalent to MBA.

MBA is awarded by universities and PGDM by bschool. As of now even IIM only provides PGP diploma and not degree due to UGC guidelines. In near future if central govt and ministry of HRD passes a bill for IIM to award degrees then only the program PGP of IIM will change to MBA degree progra

The difference is that only Universities or colleges affiliated to universities are allowed to give MBAs and all others autonomous institutes are allowed to give only a PGDM. MBA and PGDM are equivalent to each others when done from premier institutes.
