Hi,
There are three professional courses-
CA- Chartered Accountancy
CS- Company Secretary
CWA- Cost Accounting
All of these have a promising future. The course contents and functions are somewhat similar. However, they differ in specializations as follows-
CA- Accounting, Taxation, Auditing
CS- Company Law and related aspects
CWA- Costing, Management Accounting
You can analyze the various opportunities available and select the right path based on your personal criteria which should include:
*The interest and aptitude towards the subject
*Interest to get a job
*The future Demand for the particular program
Feel free to discuss further. -
You may also take up the international designations like
1. CFA - Chartered Financial Analyst
2. CFP - Chartered Financial Planner
3. ACCA UK - Just like CA
4. FRM - Financial Risk Management.
These courses have a good weightage in the industry. The course selection depends on your interest and aptitude towards learning. -
Hello Vikrant, as you said you have interest in banking and professional sector then in my opinion you should go for CA or ICWA. Is is the time to tight your socks and start preparing for them. As both are time taking course so don't waste any more time. I think you live in Delhi, there are various classes for CA and ICWA in Laxmi Nagar New Delhi. You should go there once and get a short counselling. If u get any trouble in future, feel free to contact me. All the best for your future.
