Since you have done B.Tech in ECE, try to go for Embedded systems / Programming. This will provide you specialization and it will increase the job opportunities.

I will suggest that you take up teh course on Project management and orientation to MSProject/ Primavera. This will help in getting proper project engineering jobs with good organizations.
