Hi Khushbu, To be a chef you must have a professional culinary training. To start your Career as a Chef you must complete 10th to join the Diploma Course in Food Craft. In order to opt for a Degree course in Culinary Arts you must complete 12th in any stream. A chef is one who prepares food in a hotel, restaurant, fast food joint or catering establishment. Beside being the chief cook, a chef plans menus, orders foodstuff, oversees preparation and supervises the kitchen staff.
